I am a big believer in "one liners" which would be the same as the quotes that you have included in your blog today. I like them because they are easy to repeat to myself when times are tough or when I need that extra push to reach a goal.

Also, regarding your comment on managing stress, you are the king at doing this; however, you don't see it because doing this is part of your make-up. The reason you do this so well is because you have the ability to compartmentalize each stress separately and this is why you are excellent at multi-tasking.

Jim, even when you are stressed you still can laugh -- not everyone can do this.

Now, your audience might be asking how I know this? Well, it is because I am your executive assistant and have worked with you for a very long time. And... no I am not saying all of this because I am looking for a raise, it is because it is the truth!

One of my favorite inspirational quotes was said by Mark Twain. This quote has been posted on my cubicle for 7 years and is my moment of "Zen" when the world say no.

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

This is a nice thing to stumble upon: a CEO blogger who is giving a time saving tip to the other bloggers out there.

I had not thought of this when I was musing over aspects of good CEO blogging.

Your blog is of the highest quality and the content is superb. An excellant blend of the personal and the professional, displaying vulnerabity, regrets, shortcomings, areas needing improvement, issues you're trying to resolve.

You set a good example for other bloggers and CEOs.

And I am a very stern and harsh critic, as they say.
